Judy Baker, B.A.Sc., MBA
CEO & Director
Judy Baker is a Geologist, Engineer, MBA and Certified Board Candidate (CDI.D) with over 35 years of experience across the mining and mineral exploration sector. Ms. Baker’s Capital Markets experience includes research, equity analysis, IPO’s, valuation, restructuring, sales and fund management. Judy Baker has been the CEO and Founder of three mineral exploration companies where prospective projects have been acquired and capital raised for exploration and development. Judy Baker understands how the world generates a trillion dollars of mineral commodities annually – strategically important for exploration, development and production success. Ms. Baker has over 20 years of board experience as both an executive and as an independent for resource companies serving regularly on audit committees.
Paul Poggione
President
Paul Poggione has over 25 years of experience in capital markets, including research, equity analysis, IPO’s, CPC’s, mine site visits, and portfolio management. He has worked in business development with New Age Metals, El-Nino Ventures, Metal Quest Mining and Rockport Capital. In 2019 he helped coordinate the winter drill campaign at Argo Gold’s Uchi Lake property. In 2018 he founded the Poggione Group focusing on digital marketing strategies for businesses. He obtained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation in 2013.
Vivian Austin
Corporate Controller
Ms. Austin has twenty-five years experience in progressive accounting positions with a publicly traded mining company on both the TSE and NYSE exchanges, with revenues to $USD50 MM/yr. This company also had significant international (Zambian and Mongolian) assets, and as such, Ms. Austin is familiar with all cross-border tax and accounting issues, such as ASPE, IFRS, SOX, and VAT.
George Langdon, B.Sc., M.Sc., PhD (Geology)
Director
George S. Langdon is a petroleum geologist with over 30 years experience in the old and gas industry. He holds a doctorate in Earth Sciences from Memorial University of Newfoundland. In the last 20 years he has been involved as a technical consultant and investor in building several junior public resource exploration companies, and was co-founder and President of Shoal Point Energy Ltd. from 2007 to 2013, as well as a director of Gulf Shores Resources from 2000 to 2016, and Contact Exploration from 2001 to 2008. He currently is also a Director of Relay Medical Corp., a medical diagnostics development company.
Jonathan Armes
Director
Jonathan Armes currently serves as Managing Director of Enviromine Inc., a private mineral exploration and development company based in Toronto, Ontario. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Ophir Gold (MinKap Resources Inc.) from 2016 until 2021 and served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of ALX Uranium Corp. (formerly, Lakeland Resources Inc.) from 2010 to 2016. Jon has provided corporate development, project management and investor relations services to both public and private mining exploration companies for over 20 years. Jon graduated from the University of Guelph in 1993 with a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree.
Dr. Michael Guo, P.Geo, PhD (Geochemistry)
Geological Consultant
Dr. Michael Guo is a professional geoscientist with over 30 years of international experience in mineral exploration, resource evaluation, mine geology and project development. His expertise includes exploration strategy, geological modelling, mineral resource estimation, technical due diligence and the evaluation of mining acquisitions. Dr. Guo is Principal Consulting Geologist at MG Geological Consulting Ltd., providing geological consulting services in Canada and internationally. He previously held senior leadership positions with Overseas Division of Shandong Gold, including Chief Geologist, and served as General Manager of Exploration and Geology at Focus Minerals in Australia and Deputy General Manager of the Overseas Division at Zijin Mining. His Canadian experience includes mine geology at Cameco’s Eagle Point uranium mine and exploration consulting with Dahrouge Geological Consulting. Dr. Guo has served as an Independent Director of Lingbao Gold since May 2024. His previous board roles include Non-executive Director of Focus Minerals in Australia and Equitas Resources in Canada, and Alternate Director of the World Gold Council representing Shandong Gold from 2019 to 2023. Dr. Guo holds a Ph.D. in Geochemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China and is registered as a Professional Geoscientist in Ontario and Saskatchewan.
Alex Falconer, CPA, CA
Advisor
Alex Falconer has over 30 years of experience in corporate finance, specifically focused on the small-cap mining and resource sectors. He most recently served as the CFO of Steadright Critical Minerals. He is the CFO/Owner of Falconer & Associates Inc., leveraging his CPA, CA credentials in providing consulting services to mining, internet, media and Ai companies. He has extensive experience that includes IPO’s, capital raises, regulatory filings, acquisitions and strategic alliances.
